Admissions Policy – Holy Trinity Sr. Secondary School

At Holy Trinity Sr. Secondary School, Lalkuan, Uttarakhand, we welcome students from all backgrounds, irrespective of gender, religion, caste, creed, or ability levels, provided they meet the required admission criteria.

General Admission Guidelines

• Admissions are open to all classes in which vacancies exist.

• The admission process is transparent and merit-based, ensuring equal opportunity for all applicants.

• Admission to Pre-Primary classes (Nursery, LKG, UKG) is based on observation sessions of the child and an interaction with parents/guardians.

• Admission to higher classes is subject to the availability of seats and the candidate’s performance in an entrance test (if applicable).

Age Criteria

• The minimum age for admission to Nursery is three years as of March 1st of the academic year in which admission is sought.

• The minimum age requirement for other classes increases progressively in accordance with this criterion.

• The age requirement is strictly adhered to and no exceptions are made.

Required Documents

Parents/guardians must submit the following documents at the time of admission:
✔ Birth Certificate (for Nursery and other entry-level admissions).
✔ Previous School Transfer Certificate (TC) (for admissions to higher classes).
✔ Report Card from the previous school (if applicable).
✔ Passport-size Photographs of the student.
✔ Aadhaar Card (if available).
✔ Any other documents required as per Uttarakhand Board guidelines.

Admission Process

1. Registration: Parents/guardians must collect and submit the admission form at the school office within the specified time.

2. Assessment & Interaction:

   • For Pre-Primary, an observation session and parental interaction will be conducted.

   • For higher classes, an entrance test (if required) may be conducted to assess the student's readiness.

3. Final Admission Approval: Selected students will be notified, and parents must complete the admission formalities, including fee payment, within the given deadline.
